WE'RE BACK .
Its 6.30 Sunday 18th March, we have just come back from Combe Martin and our Caravan. What a journey high winds combined with at times heavy snow flurries and temperatures down to 34 f .All these combined made the 80 mile journey take us 1/2 hour longer than usual. Monday, back to normal with hospital appointments, and Chiropody Tuesday, never mind all being well we will go back on Thursday. These photo's of Combe and local area taken yesterday show Hele Bay, Combe and beaches.

Lovely photos! The house I grew up in is in the bottom left hand photo, the bungalow with the red roof, at the highest level of houses. Good old Devonshire weather I see.

Hi all, as you can see were back until Thursday.
Ex shammy,we spent a couple of afternoons in C M, I thought I'd better take you a few photo's glad they are ok.
Abe, as I've probably said before my wife Sue takes 99% of the photos all these with her Digital Fuji Finepix A700, she will get out the 35mm SLR again soon.No I'm afraid we did'nt get a glimpse of Martin.
Verena, I do hope you get chance to visit as it is a beautiful but weatherwise very frustrating country.
I spent many a night in Hele Bay playing skittles many years ago! :)
